Picked up cons this week from 2 of our ops and spent several hours this morning working down some of the cons.
It was quiet... a little chilly... and actually pretty relaxing.
Figured I'd shoot some of the pans with the new camera.
Some came out pretty cool.

There is just something about seeing gold in a pan that makes
a cup of coffee taste better in the mornings Doc. Thanks.......

It's a FUJI Fine Pix 30 EXR
Pretty happy with it since I'm just using the stock lens.
I've done a lot of landscape pics, as well as nature and close ups.

Thanks Doc, that looks like a nice camera and it takes superb photos! I recently purchased a Nikon P7700, a high quality point and shoot camera so a smaller machine so I can easily backpack with it. The 7700 replaces my beloved Canon G3 that I've used for many years, the Nikon has a 12 mp sensor whereas the G3 has a 4 mp sensor. The G3 was good but the 7700 is way better. Also, the software that came with the 7700 very Easily allows me to reduce the size of my pictures for posting on the internet.

When I purchased the G3 I slowly graduated to higher capacity memory cards but never larger than 4 GB. With the 7700 I went directly to the highest and fastest card I could purchase, a SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC 64GB at 95/90 MB/s' (write/read), and I am so pleased with the results both photographically as well as the speed of taking pictures as well as downloading them to my computer. It now takes a few brief moments to download my raw shots from card to computer and that timing is with 40 to 50 raw shots still stored on the card. The time from shot to shot is less time than it would take me to advance the 35mm film on my Nikon FE. The 7700 has minimum f stops of f2 to f4 so it is a fairly fast lens. Fun Toys!!.................................63bkpkr
