I'll go ya one better and show ya my gravel suckin rocker box.
The hand pump will pull a gravel slurry to the bucket, then only water goes to the pump. Once the 1st bucket if full, install another bucket and with the wife's help, process the first bucket through the rocker while I continue to suck more gravel slurry to the second bucket.
Gamma Seal lid and good tight seals is the key.

Thanks Bob. Real nice setup you have. I've seen your blog and the results that you've gotten from your rocker box. Pretty impressive!

I've added an upper sluicing tray in the headerbox of my setup. I'm gonna take it out on the Clearwater this weekend...I'll post the results!

I was driving by the Clearwater this morning and the shoreline is still iced up. Gravel will be frozen solid.
I managed to pull 1.5 grams before the big freeze.
I'll drop you am email when the river is workable and we can meet up at Mother Nature's Sluicebox for a trial run of your rocker. Drop me an email...bedrockbob50 at yahoo.com then I'll give you my private email addy.

Just drove by Gibbs Eddy...it's doesn't look like the picture but I didn't stop to check the status of the gravels.
Only way to work it now is to dig in the water.........brrrrrrrr.

Today's highbanker is nothing more than a 'static' rocker box. :icon_thumleft:
