Upstate South Carolina Gold

I'm in the Spartanburg/Greenville area of South Carolina. Anyone know any good ideas on where to prospect? I'm a newbie and have found about 10 flakes and 4 pieces that are alot bigger than flakes but smaller than pickers. I just started about a month ago. I've ran a total of about 4 five gallon buckets through my sluice. Since I am finding gold in the creek, should the gold be more concentrated at a different location in the creek? I was wondering if I should keep trying the creek where I've been or if anyone else had any places locally that would be better. Any comments/tips about prospecting would be greatly appreciated!

I would say your creek isnt overly productive,
All you can do is look for creeks and get permission from the landowner
To mine them

Another option would be to join a club, people there tend to be freindly
Can give you advice and the property is guranteed to bear gold
