You captured a gold flake that kinda looks like Australia!!!! Thats freakin awesome. I want one lol. I found one yesterday that looked like two oval ones fused together. Kinda like a pair of butterfly wings. Gotta love gold that looks like other interesting things.

Nice gold.

I find hammered stuff like that every once in a while when I'm sluicing or panning.

I detected a thick piece like that years back. It was like a golden cornflake, and it was high up a cliff. I fluked it out on that find. I lifted the detector as high up as I could and with pure, blind luck I got a signal! I won't bore you with the near death experience of retrieving the target, but it was a fun find.

Na I just went along and cleaned the hopper. My buddy bought a new drywasher at the gold show and wanted me to put him on the gold. Bored from hanging around the house and with PT closed on Monday I said lets go. He did all the digging and I manned the hopper with my left hand/arm. I am healing up real good from the replacement shoulder.
