Did some prospecting at mineral bar today and came across what I believe to be mountain lion prints? I was solo and felt pretty sketched out on the hike in..found out why when I got to the river lol always a great day prospecting!
I wish i could have been alongside you today!! Hope gold was good

Making a mountain outa molehill...

The top picture is a blowup of the bottom picture...the tracks at his feet are maybe 2 inches in size...

Not bear or lion...more like a medium size dog or a coyote...definitely a small animal...

It's a large dog track, and it stepped into the track
of a human. Cougar have retractable claws, so you
wouldn't see claw marks in the track.

Feel sorry for that big cat...hellofa way to go for a
wild animal.

School , when you see a real set of lion tracks you'll know it. Even a little one leaves a huge track. Kinda impressive
