Hi All, Well it's late and I can't go to bed so I figure it's a quiet time to write my story. Wensday I got to go out to Yankee jims for a little crevicing for gold. We woke up early and set off. The day all started when we crossed the bridge. When we stopped the car to pay the fee I looked across and could see what it appeared to be a couple of people with cigarettes and beer cans. As we got climbed back in the car and started to cross the bridge it became clear that they were a bunch of people filming a movie. We passed them and they all turned and starred at us and we exchanged the state as well. When we passed we found no parking so decided to turn the car around and go to where they were. We stopped next to them and was greeted by a black women, who told us what they were doing. Then the director butt in telling us they had a permit to film (liked we cared) and went on about what we were doing. Eventually after a useless conversation we parked where we were and set off. Me and my brother pondered the question of what the were filming. Some evidence of what we came up with was a hot young women in a fake looking security outfit with a gun and some other women and quite a lot of men. Hate to say this, but in a remote kinda location and a couple of cameras in a kinda secluded area we thought the same thing. An adult film was the conclusion. Any way we went down and crossed the river and I began my work. I first went to the same spot me and GoldenMojo worked last time as we got good results there. I took some dirt out but got bored because I wanted to find my own spot. I looked around and found some small cracks. The dirt had 1 color in it so I abandoned that spot. Then I moved and found this deep catch of dirt. I thought this would be a good place considering it had a drop in it. I wanted to test the skills I was taught by mojo and see if I could put them too the test. Well I dug the place dry and it gave some decent results. And so I decided to go sniping with my brother, considering we bother had no idea what we were doing I stopped. I went back to the old spot I dig with Mojo. I examined a bit and was curios as to what lie left of the hole. And what I found was good. I took the sand and panned it out. It was good but what I found interesting was that there was a drop in the sand near the hole, so I went to dig what I could find. There was a sudden drop in the bedrock almost like making a wall. Sorry this doesent make sense at all. But I dug what appeared to be hard chunks of hard pack stuck to the bedrock in which I broke off and sweeped up and put it in a bucket to pan out. Gave great results and the hole is still not done. So Mojo if you want a bit of easy gold go back there, I left some for ya (I hope). Anyway the day went on and we both got tired an decided to head home. As I was crossing the river I hear my brother cussing. I look behind me to notice the bucket with some dirt I was bringing back and my tools floating slowly down the river. I couldn't jump in with my backpack on and I was in the middle if the river. He had his backpack on too so we watched as it made its way down. Kind of a slow terror moment. It stopped before it fell Into some whitewater and I made him retrieve it. Well that's all I can remember for now. Maybe a can think about going back to get some sleep. Thanks for reading my story all. Ps those film people were still there when we walked back up so I figure it was a legit movie. Hehe can't beat those funny assumptions. H&F. Great story. Way to plow through the distractions and keep to the prospecting. It sounds like you are becoming more confident in your ability to find gold. There is so much to learn in the beginning and you are on the right track sampling and keeping track of what works and what doesn't. Very nice take of gold. Thanks for saving some for me, you go ahead and keep working it, I have other places.

Good to see someone with the energy and determination
to get out there and find the good stuff!

(FWIW: I know this ain't English class, but adding some
paragraph breaks to your writing would sure make it easier
for us old farts to read...8-)...)

Be sure to let me in on those spots hehe. Trying to learn as much on experience as I can because my time is limited up there.
