Relocating North. Just wish it was west also

After another incident with my heart I have decided to take the wife's advice and retire. Time to live like I was dying!
We are moving back to Chicago but I am planning on prospecting Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin as much as possible so if there is anyone out there that wants to help out a fellow prospector (Gold amounts don't matter, just color every now and then) let me know. I have already started the research of the "Gold" bearing areas but will need some leads on camping close by as I am about the adventure, and if I strike the big one then I can afford to head to Kali.

I live in Milwaukee and am trying to prospect locally too. Always nice to have a fellow prospector to dig with anytime. I work but when im not im thinking AU. Have you tried in WI yet?

Not yet.
I did find a little color in the Rock River just NW of me.
Have you found AU in your area?
This weekend is to be in the 70's so I will be trying to get out somewhere to pan.
