Anyone know of a simple way to identify some almost microscopic flakes for gold of iron sulphide? Do small to try the crush test. They don't seem as heavy as gold but being thin flakes may just appear lighter. I don't have a powerful enough magnifier to see if there is any crystalline shape to them. Was think of a common acid maybe? Even some observable reaction would suffice.
