    Gold Bar Free Gold Maps web site has been updated again

    It was a miserable amount of work but I found the time to update Free Gold Maps with new features. The map now shows township information (lines and center position), which can be toggled on and off. This will probably help some people know the plat information necessary to file a mineral claim. I will also be adding an active claims count for each section.

    Cool MRDS data to google maps, mostly past producers, dont see any township info and cant find a toggle?
    would be good as an embed map for websites
    I usully just go to the source and there is an interactive map,
    I select "shaded Relief" and at the bottom "mineral Resources" then zoom in
    Global interactive map from Mineral Resources Online Spatial Data

    then there is mining activity on Federal lands 1976 trough 2010
    Mine claim activity on Federal land for the period 1976 through 2010

    and One of the best free Gold maps(mylandmatters);
    Mining Maps
