Ooooo... I like that idea... Is that chain running the inside of the tube? That might be what I use inside my build i'll be starting on here shortly

nice trommel. u have to action sluicebox system =) im using trucks windscreen vipers 24v motor.

well im using two 12v batteys linked to 24volts and i have solarpanels for ladding.

Check it out. It's alive!!!!! I wish I had a DC set up. O well inverters work. Pelton wheel to charge up my battery's. Well!!! I can't up load video. I was going to show it running. O-well

some progress






we mined 12 m3 of paydirt trought the trommel after that and 6 days i chaneged the first battery =) i didnt have solarpanel system last summer but now i do have. im still going to have 3 batterys, one for spare.
that "poor mans DIY trommel is my first version this will be much better =)

Dude that's way cool. Nice ridged frame. I wish I had the means to make something quality like that. I've only got about 15 dollars invested in mine. Built with other peoples trash. Lots of wing nuts washers an bolts. As long as it gets the job done. Right!! Nice build it looks awesome.

yeah as long it work no matteR!! beaty or beast =) same thing. in this one 1 have been spent 45€ ( the net and iron ) other im recykling from my old trommel. No point of wasting good materials .

yeah that was the point =) and only round edges so no place to stay.
