Paulie to keep in the spirit of the miner heritage your cake will be made out of weevil flour and salt pork baked in an old metal pan. Happy Birthday.

All sounds good to me GW:icon_thumright: Charlie's place on the river is a possible dig/camp spot. I'm almost sure he would be cool with it and could see the event working out well there. Thinking about 30 of us would be a good crowd... Ponder on it a bit and we can talk it over tomorrow. Either way, will see you bright n early with the 48" miner in hand!...

I am certainly gonna try! Nick can't make it and our boys will already be up there so that would put me footing the bill alone to come up there. Unles I can find someone to come with me....

Hey, are y'all doing T-Shirts again?
Yes but, you can only get one in person:tongue3:

My biggest expense is fuel, and I'm working now to save up the
cash it'll take to make the round trip.

In case I missed it, are there any fees for camping, etc.?

Don't know how much diggin' I'll be up to, but I'm going to
borrow my buddies Bazooka Prospector and give it a hellofa
go. Hopin' for a nice picker (or two!) as I've yet to find any one
piece larger than about .05 gr. Gold Cube's probably gonna stay
home unless someone makes a good case for packing it along.

It's a long trip just for a weekend, so can anyone tell me if there
is a place close by where I can safely camp, and if anyone is interested,
do some more prospecting?

Spam?.....So far only the date is set If is lawful by then There could be dredging but, not near the campsite. The digging will be sluicing panning sniping....riverside work. Unless we have another spot lined up. Depends on the head count. If it ends up being the usual non flake group we might hit Our claim again depends. The claim would most likelt only be invite to folks Hangtown and I know personally

Dizzy we are working hard on getting a spot that will be for camping and digging. Have two bits of private land that are possible. There is going to be a nominal fee. That will cover giving some money to the land owner and we are gonna have to get a porta potty. There are a couple members working behind the scenes with me. As soon as we finalize some details we I will post a thread with a link to more info and method of registration. Have had a communication with the owner of tnet we are making sure we can post the thread to fit within website rules. I will say that part of the money will be given directly to someone we have all heard of that needs some legal funds. And we will be having a raffle. Hopefully next week I can post the official thread.
