Looks like Skykomish river gold, maybe Nooksack. Am I close. With all the recent flooding on the Sky lately that is typical, great job, Ed

It is from a local creek here in Everett. I won't tell which. .. That was from 3 to 4 hours just panning. Today I take the bazooka gold trap to the same spot. I want to see if it holds on to that super fine.

I think I know where your mining but will keep your secret, I have a secret place too, not to far away from your place, the pics below, one is gold from the Skykomish, you can see how similar they are to your finds, got that a couple weeks ago, 3 buckets run threw the sluice, the next pic is of gold I get from the secret place and the gold coin is the size of a quarter, believe it or not I found the coin dumpster diving last September on a job site, Hope you found a lot today, I'll be up this weekend on the sky. sd.jpg 20150318_111828d.jpg

Is it possible to prevent gold from sticking to the slick plate on the bazooka?

Hi mshanygin, great catch but I think you should try the Skykomish, there is a lot of flood gold there thanks to all the flooding we've had and I think you will do well there, maybe I'll see you up there some day.

I got double from what I got yesterday. The pictures don't do it justice.

To me that is a good thing, it is your indicator that you are on the gold, I would probably get a cheap paint brush and use that to move it down before cleanup, my sluice is modified so I know instantly that I am on the gold or not.
