Opinions on the bazooka sluice

Looks good. Have you shoveled material into it? Seems like that would do the job well, maybe with just a bit more slope to let the rocks roll off the griz. Clearly I'm gonna need a bigger pump!
I have yet to shovel any "pay dirt" thru it, just gravel from the yard...lol. I need to try it in reality! With the water levels so high and everything an hour away I hate to waste time driving anywhere I can't work the dirt! I do think the 3700 would do okay. Like you said, a bit more slope...still more fun than classifying!

In the end I went with the Gold Hog Mini Excavator, and a Angus Mackirk Foreman tied together. I use the Rule 3700 pump, and it works great! I use the Mini high banker at 11 degree pitch, and the Mackirk is set at 5-6 degree pitch.
I would still like to try working with the Bazooka more, but have not had a chance to mess with it anymore... Gold Hog Mini.jpg
