My take from Peshastin Creek WA yesterday. Dug a nice hole behind a big rock at the edge of the water. My first pan had 4 or 5 colors. Ran my 24" sniper for about 3 hours which kept up nicely, I love it.

Thanks everyone. I think the pics make it look like a lot more than it really is, should've included a penny for reference. Didn't get to weigh as I doubt it would register on the scale I've got, guess it's time to get more equipment :laughing7:. Yep, after getting a little discouraged, the fever is once again alive and well.

Your doing great. My first nugget 3 years ago was a gold painted rock that some cruel sob planted. My son found one too. I still have mine. Conversation piece.

Owen, we've all seen gold in a finish pan, so it's not hard to
gauge what our pans look like compared to yours.

Ya done good...

Hey I just started this treasure hunting hobby. Just as a point of reference, what would you experienced guys/gals say this amount weighs? What is it worth, money-wise?

Wow, so you would really need a lot of gold dust for it to be worth anything significant huh? Does anyone every find large nuggets?
