Some of you know Ray. Great guy.
Thought I would share since a lot of us are rained in.
Nicer weather in Alaska than around here...... figures.

He went out be himself dredging beach sands and had a 17 gram day.
The majority of his gold is in the 100 - 200 mesh range and flat stuff.
I'm sure a video will follow knowing Ray.
Pics below are from the cleanup.
Fun stuff.

Thanks Kevin.
In his 5" triple he's running bare mats and then he uses the Multi Sluice for cleanups.
He's really become an expert on tuning them in both in his dredge and other units.
His videos are a HOOT... but rated PG13 sometimes. :)
What comes to Ray's mind comes out his mouth.
Cover the kids' ears.

I would expect nothing less from GoldHog matting. Simply the best gold recovery system a prospector could ask for. I have them on all of my highbankers.

He posts regularly on "goldprospectingforum.com" and (good guess) I think Juneau is his home. His user name is "rayzer13". That is Doc's forum, mostly for discussing his products but a lot of other good info too. Didn't want to step on toes if the link is not allowed.

Thank's arizau.
I used to live in Juneau, about 9 years. moved back to Oregon in 2000. loved it there.
went back a few years ago and there have been some changes, but I could still live there without any regrets.

Just went to the other forum and was watching some of his videos..... Yup I know the area pretty well.
I do miss that country, the hunting and fishing are fantastic. I however did not know about the gold they seem to be getting though.....:BangHead:

I took my 2" there yesterday just did a small pan about a cup of my concentrate and found this. I have about 2 gallons to go through image.jpg

Pretty hard to see but I'm confident that I did pretty good for an hour and a half I haven't even cleaned my minors moss yet :-)

When I lived in Juneau I really wasn't even thinking about the gold.
But thinking about it now .... well it is all too obvious why you guys are getting what you are and where you are getting it from.

You guys are making me homesick......:blackbeard:
