Here is a look at that map (water vapor) for today. Weather is coming from the west... I will add that I believe this El Nino will bring a lot of needed rain to CA. Not sure how it will impact prospecting...

ya that last storm was crazy hwy 58 is still under mud in some places. first thought was I hope everyone is ok, then the second thought was hmm there is still enough water to run a sluice.

Sorry Bonaro, but being an Island Nation wouldn't effect the jacked up politics one bit. Probably make it worse as we'd figure out a way to outlaw mudslides and rain as well.
