With all the rains we've had this winter already, the silt and scouring in entire river systems must be driving them crazy. No money to be made trying to regulate weather.

The rivers are being affected more in 5 minutes than years of combined dredging could ever do. Funny how the fish have survived millenniums of this but can't survive a single brief dredge season according to their science sources :dontknow:

Oh, I don't know--global warming folks seems to be making money out of trying to regulate the weather. :)

Huh? No weather change here? Just dry and drought ridden like they tell us. No rain in the forecast this year, California's greenies all turned moonbeam brown last summer.

Back to a normal winter in the Pacific Northwest? We shall see. As long as March finds the Cascades with 20+ feet of snow at 7000 feet, then life is good.

We're warmer and wetter than usual this winter....so far. Almost no snow in the mountains yet, and if like last year, will dry out starting in Feb-Mar. Mid 50's today and RAIN all week.

I'm now taking pre-orders for Arks at a reasonable price. Save the important stuff like mining gear, claims paperwork, pets and your gold!!!! For those that can't afford the full Ark package, we're offering "Water Wings" and used surf boards as an optional flotation method......

To the enviros it doesn't matter. If the weather is different from what it was yesterday it's climate change. To them that's a big deal. To the rest of the populace it's "Well, Duh". Bring on climate change, maybe it will relieve the drought here in the west!

The good news is this is an EL NINO year! The NW flooding is probably a result of this already. And California and the SW states should get above normal rainfall!

The big floods of '97 were during a strong El Nino, and this one is supposed to be big! Here in Nevada County, we have had some nice storms, on after another, and there is decent snow at the ski resorts!
