This spring I am finally going to get to make that trip I have been planning for over a year. I will have a couple of months to hit the road and "Follow the Gold".
Looking for suggestions on where to start. I am hoping to meet some of you will traveling. remember my health is not the best so miles of BPKing in is out of the question.
I am definitely planning on going through Denver with hopes of meeting Kevin.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Well T-Net members are always welcome in my neck of the woods. Bring a detector and we can hit several spots here in the N.W. corner of Arid-Zona or a few places in the southern tip of Nevada. Just don't go loosing everything ya find at the Golden Nugget Casino!

Well Kevin CONGRATULATIONS on your retirement! Hopefully I might meet up with you this July when I (hopefully) try to go to Wyoming or over to the Arkansas River on Labor Day week.

Idaho seems to be about the most miner friendly state left and some nice pics/stories posted here in the archives. John

I remember when I first started here on TN and when I saw stuff like this I was very suspicious and thinking no way...their isn't people like this anymore. Little did I know that I had found something even more valuable than gold...good friends and good times shared!

Funny thing is no one ever takes up the offer...with the exception of the first miners bash..but that was a low turn out considering all those who said they would attend. Last year was great and I know that everyone there di not care about how "under charged" they were for the experience:laughing7:. I really wish Terry C tries to come to the next one.
For those who "plan to motor west" and especially take that 'California trip"...( Chuck Berrys' version of the plugged song is best btw) just let me know when your gonna be around and i'll do my part to create some memories. I have a goal of three I'm lowering the bar will adjust for influx.......................

WOW, Thanks for all the invites and I hope to meet some if not all of you. Once the weather starts to break I will be setting my course and heading out. I am planning on making it all the way to Cali and with a little luck even Alaska. Just hope my health holds out so I can make this an annual trip.
