Looks like another worthless show, I guess we have to watch it until Gold Rush comes back in six months.

BUT in between the drama are nuggets of fun just like Colorado Prospectors Gem tv show. Talk about worthless drivel and Gold Rush is Queen-John

All these shows run on the same formula, but that is what tv has become, finding a winning formula and reguritated until people are sick. I watch just for the gold porn, the cleanouts. The old mud miners show was tolerable and Yukon Gold show now has new episodes up on You Tube

When I watch these guys pan or sample spots, I think they do not have a clue what they are doing. They hike, fly, boat, to places and sample 2 or 3 times and say that there is no gold. They walk over miles of ground and do not sample along the way, they hike up a mountain and can not find any thing, could have check the creek at the bottom and found the same thing. They go down to a hard to get to a river dig 2 or 3 spots, dig down a foot or less and say there is no gold. They find gold on top of a mountain 10 miles from a road and are shocked it will cost them millions to build a road to it. There gold miner guy goes crazy when he gets puked, files a clam on a spot and tells them after they are out sampling. Can you say dude your fired. and you can carry out all this stuff.

I watched the first episode and this looks like The Curse of Oak Island all over again. Every episode will be them hunting and finding nothing but specs of gold. The show is a big tease. Before every commercial break you'll get that increase in drama and music gets all intense like the beginning of them slipping off a cliff or something and then nothing no real danger.

I'm seeing this the same way as BrassEagle.

The idea is exciting but the creators obviously found people to play 'characters' and follow a fairly lame screenplay. Like every other docu-drama out there, it's probably aimed at the general population instead of people who really live this stuff.

The good news that this is the end of the season. I agree with # 7. I believe this group have gold fever, and each on their own.
