We do a lot work with artisanal miners, small scale, and medium scale ops around the world,
as well as claim owners that want a scale-able commercial unit.
So... after about 6 months of design work and testing we get to launch our "Super Hog".
Fun........... unit with lots of features.
Hope to be shooting a video this week.
Can be run as a small portable scouting and prospecting unit... then stepped up into full size production mode.
Each of the 4 stages (sluice sections) offers the operation the ability to change the velocity (pitch) and matting
config based on the material and pay they are running. Good example is our Africa ops that can't have ANY turbulence
in their sluice.
Unit breaks down small, can ship via USPS to most countries, and runs off a cheap semi-trash pump.
Works well with small conveyor feed systems too.
Let you know when we get video up.

Looks good Doc.

What is the type and gauge of construction material? It looks like a pretty heavy duty aluminum from the pictures. Any idea on the weight of a full size unit?

Heavy Pans

We use .90 5052 alum which is the heaviest I will go on units.
Offers clean bending without fractures and is the best alum for welding.
This unit actually has quite a bit of welds on it, no rivets, and has a fluidized drop zone in the header box.
We will have the weight total shortly... still configuring mats and final layouts for all the leg placements
as the unit needs to run as 3 different units.

Nice build! It will be interesting to see how much more efficient the super is from the scout. I bet the scout with your excellent mats is good enough for most applications.
