This is the book all Washington State prospectors should read

I downloaded this book today, written in 1897, it explains so much. It is amazing what the old timers did, after reading this book you will understand why and why not you are finding gold. It is a fact that were ever we go in this state to mine the old timers were there before us, are there places that they missed ?, yes and I found a few of them but that is rare. The book is a long read but study it, just about every place you want to mine is in there with it's history. " Mining in the Pacific Northwest book " Just type that in and do a search, on the website 0penlibrary.org is where you can download a pdf file of the book or you could pay $2000.00 on amazon for an original copy.

Thanks Ratled, that is a better copy of the book, the one at openlibrary.org is not the easy to read.

I've been using this one https://archive.org/stream/mininginp...ge/n1/mode/2up . It comes from the same place but just a nicer format to read I think.
