Last week I posted the video of the big dig down at Gold N Gems.
Got our first chance to really some.
Ran about 250 buckets in 3 hours with the Raptor Flare.
GREAT gems... but have not worked the cons for gold yet.
Got chased out by storms.

Yep....... pretty cool.
I did see a SMALL trace of emerald fragments which made me happy.
Haven't seen emeralds in a while and hoping this new dig starts to produce some.

Doc nice take! About 20 years ago my wife and I went to a site in Villa Rica Ga. at a old tailings spot that allowed us in to highbank. yes I got a little gold BUT I also got a pile of small slivers of Emeralds. every pan had a handful of them , and now I don't know where they are in my shop.

I was excited to see the carrier material (black rock) for emeralds and a few little pieces of emeralds.
We haven't seen emeralds there in about 2 years because of the old dirt.
This new dirt has me excited again. Starting to see some really cool stuff.

Not much in the way of gems in my state, but I do pick up an agate here
and there. Loads of quartz, but nothing much to accompany it.

Ya Dizzy.........
It's worth the trip there at least once for most people.
