Gonna destroy that pump first time out......... everything about that idea is destined to failure......
Waste of time, energy, money and equipment........:BangHead:

I'd tell you how I really feel about this dumb idea but I would get banned...:laughing7:

I like the idea just not the execution, it may work if it was like a wet vac with a filter
and have the bilge pump in the same place as the wet vac motor...

You just end up with a lot of cons in a short time..... Open, empty, repeat....WAY too often.
Just my 2 pennyweight...:dontknow:

Well as I said, (and especially here in Commie CA) there are many advantages to a quiet submerged invisible 12 volt suction dredge in areas that have not been dredged in over 6 years. Just saying.

It's interesting the things people are able to imagine, then develop. It's never been my strong suit, but I enjoy seeing what others are dreaming up, and someone somewhere along the way may figure out a way to make it operationally functional so it'll do the job right. I take my hat off to people that try to imagine new ways to recover the gold, for without them, we'd all be stuck using the same things the 49'ers were way back when.

All the best, enjoyed the concept even though it obviously needs more developmental time as many seminal ideas do,

Before I retired ,I used to work for a company that had a division that but things with NO purpose intended. It was their R&D shop. They made things for the future and made them available to to like types of companys or other divisions of companys that were in cahoots with each other . Sometimes a person could review their projects and find a applicable project that could use their project and make it work for them....It was pretty neat to see all they did !

TYVM Brian. I've been looking at the capacity (for both) and impressed by neither. So...I'm gonna modify my shrimp gun to inhale underwater gravels and exhale into a bucket...or sluice. more to come
