Today is a great day for NH gold miners!!!!! WE WON!! The bill is DEAD.Today we went to concord for our hearing on motorized mining. Awesome turn out! The old saying the proof is in the pudding, let me tell you! The meeting started with the rep who wrote this bill she didn't have any real facts and pretty much said she didn't like it personally. Only one other person was opposed. Then came us miners we had ALL the proof documents, pics, studies you name it they got both barrels. we ran them out of time with overwellming testimony. The look on that committee's faces when they saw what we bought priceless! At the end of it the rep looked like she wanted to crawl under her chair the committee's chins we on the floor! they took a vote and KILLED IT!!! I want to thank timberdoodle and AGP they were a great help. Also to everyone who came to the meeting THANK YOU!!! There is power in numbers and today is proof. After the hearing I got to talk to one of the senators and she thanked us for the education they received. She said that they had no idea of the good that we did. One guy told the committee that he used his not only as a dredge but also he used it to suck up Millfoil an invasive aquatic plant they liked that!

Keep in mind that politics is a game to those in office. They absolutely view it as a game of who can get away with what.

This loss for them is nothing. They WILL come back next year and every year after. They will do whatever is needed to get their way. That is the way the liberal/progressive/Marxists work. Yes that is the true definition of a democrat.

AND this country is NOT a democracy! It was founded as a Republic. Part of the problem we have is that people use the wrong terms. Learn the definitions of democracy and republic. There is a huge difference. The Dems. want a democracy because it is rule by brute force and by mobs. A Republic is much different and puts the law on your side. This is important. Dems. are Marxists but because Marxists have such a bad name here in the US the Dems. know they can't call themselves that so they flip flop between liberal and progressive. They have been doing this for many decades. Once the term progressive got a bad name they switched to liberal now liberal is getting a bda name and they are wanting to be called progressives. But in fact they are Marxists. If you don't know what Marxism is you need to educate yourselves or you will loose future battles.

One comment that was made was that the legislator introducing the bill 'felt' dredging was bad. That is how the Marxists operate and how democracies rule by mobs. Feelings do NOT play a role in freedom and liberty. The law does. Listen to Gorsuch's confirmation hearings and you'll see him shut down the most evil member of congress Diane Fienstien and put her in her place because of 'her feelings' about issues. He told her his feelings and her feelings on any issue do not matter but only the law matters.

If you truly want to stop the liberal/progressive/Marxist advance in this nation get educated and use the right words and the law. This is a Republic let's keep it that way. If you choose a democracy you will eventually lose your battle on mining. Your 'mob' may have worked today but your mob isn't bigger than the opponent. They just weren't prepared for your 'mob'. Learn the history of this nation and what France went through after this nation won it's independence and established the Constitution. Do you even remember the name Marie Antoinette? She was a victim of mob rule and so were millions of other innocent people in France.

You haven't won the war, just a battle. The war is never won but battles can be won. Get ready for a much more challenging battle next session.

Did you ever here of the American revolution? Us New Englanders live to fight the good fight we were brought up to stand up for what we believe in! And yesterday we fired a shot that was heard round the world! Maybe if everyone came together like we did you too could get some positive results and leave out the politics.

We did it, we won!! We stopped the dredge ban in it's tracks! We hit them with a lot of facts and info and I even brought in a 2 inch into the State House for them all to see that dredges aren't monsters. One of the Senators came up to me after the vote to see if he could give the dredge a try sometime and gave me his card. The key thing about fighting these lawmakers is that they have no idea at all on what a dredge is or how it works. Once we showed them and explained what a dredge is and how insignificant the damage they do to the environment is, it actually switched 2 of the committee members views to our side and killed the bill.

Good job guy, seems like you have some decent fair people on your "committees" wish we had that here.

We have given amazing presentations...and the votes still go down party lines. In our state that means the good guy loses.

Luckily we live in a small state population around maybe a million? A lot of us live in small towns we only have 13 cities all else are towns. So some of us do know the reps and senators. The town I live in actually it's a city technically I'm the fifth generation to live here I know anybody important and it does carry some weight when needed. our roots for a lot of us run long and deep.
