Snuffer bottle vs Sniping bulb for sniping.

Haven't ever tried underwater sniping before and going to give it a try soon. Tried doing a search on this but came up with nothing. The sniping bulbs have a tether which is nice, but does it actually do a better job of capturing gold vs a standard snuffer bottle? Any other equipment I should know about besides standard crevicing tools for this?

I always buy a sucker bottle when I'm in a prospecting shop or a gold show. BUT I like making my own in a bigger fashion and with a larger diameter straw. If you go to big of straw it wont suck much material on one squeeze but it will hold the bigger nuggets "IF" you ever find them!
