Been a little while since I've been around. Got moved to the night shift at work and that has really hindered my prospecting and I've been on vacation the last couple of weeks. Well yesterday I got an email from Discovery Channel about when the teaser/trailers will be airing for the show I will be on called "Devils Canyon". First one is on May 17th during the airing of "The Last Alaskans". I am nervous like you wouldnt believe. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. 6 weeks completely alone in the British Columbia bush, surviving and mining gold. No film crew, just me, filming myself the entire time. You get me, in the raw struggling like I have never done before.

But how did "The Goose" react............(you should have seen the people in the park......LOL!)

I like the history portion of that trailer, with the old photos and you did a good job narrating.
Be ready for the lime light and all that will entail.

It looks like the "Narration" in the video is from my interview right before they put me in the bush. They were asking me lots of questions about "why this place" etc. When I was standing there talking, that was the last time I saw civilization for 6 weeks.

Goose! Great first episode I really liked it. I'm into the survival stuff and gold so this is right up my ally. Bear outside the tent first night, a storm and no fire, sounds like a party. Can't wait to see more.

I didn't see any alter ego! It looked like at any moment you were going to say "Goose is back!". More like the serious side of Goose, but Goose none the less. How did you survive with no "nutrients"? Also, had a feeling you were a Marine, Semper Fi! I'm guessing a Hollywood Marine, but that's ok :laughing7:

one criticism no more nudity ! censored or otherwise.
not only is the idea stolen from naked and afraid imo it's disgusting !
if you can't get a hot young woman and avoid the blurring of her talents, it's offensive to me !

the rest of the show was ok but that was unnecessary imo
and a warning should have been broadcast

I will guess that he was naked to keep his clothes dry.
Or... clothes got wet and he was drying them... so as not to get hypothermia.

1 tough place and couldn't be more dangerous. I've been to some horrendous places 7 days in 2 out,7 in 2 out style. BUT not like they did wow. Tough place to mine for sure and every gram will be well earned. RESPECT-John

Nicely done Goose. Im only halfway done with the first episode but i am already more interested than i am in other gold shows. With all of the hazards/ variables you guys faced from nature i doubt theres need for manufactured drama
