It clearly worked for Todd. It's discovered several places where there is no gold. I'm guessing it was designed with TV drama in mind. TV drama brings in a lot more money than mining gold in a previously heavily mined out area like Oregon or Guyana or Colorado or ...

Come to think of it this particular anti gold detector would be particularly successful in Kansas or Nebraska. Think about it, Gold Rush Nebraska - will Todd's crew quit? What happened to the girlfriend? Freddie Dodge returns. Some old guy curses a lot. Look at those pants! Uh Oh! somebody had a fender bender! And other non gold related adventures!

I haven't a clue who those guys are, but judging by the comments they are on TV and making a mockery of detecting?

I love the very first line of "features" on the box.......discovers different kinds of metals. Ummmmmmm, isn't that what a metal detector is supposed to do??

I'm not buying a metal detector to find styrofoam cups or plastic bags??

it's like the Bill Wyman Signature Detector

cscope-bill-wyman-controls.jpg

CScope may be a good Name but

Location_Wyman_3.jpg

No matter who they are it's simply Priced for the Signature,
for little Boys & Girls. or as a collectable Dust collector.

Not for it's abilities

Sometimes if I don't want to turn 10 knobs on my V/SAT I'll fire up my $40 detector that will tell me if its a quarter or a penny I am digging!

Geo, if you go to Skagway Alaska, which was a route to get to White Pass during the gold rush, Soapy Smith's skull is painted on the rocks.

He ripped people off in a variety of ways. One was that he had a fake telegraph office. People would come in and wire home for money, and Soapy would tell them that something awful happened back home and THEY needed money.

I have a picture of the painted rock somewhere, with a buddy of mine on top of it for scale.

Hahahaha, that's pretty funny.

Scammers everywhere, and in every century. It's just a matter of how creative one can get I suppose.
