Hi,

I'm new to gold prospecting, and would like to begin by taking a tour in a specific location in South Carolina.

I was thinking of staying at Cane Creek Campground just over the border in NC, and visiting places in Lancaster County SC.

If anyone has any suggestions about how to slowly begin, let me know.

I would like to stay closer if possible, and be able to work some semi-good spots. I plan to camp in the area for about two months starting in December 2017 to see the average yields.

I would like to start by doing some prospector panning, and sluicing, while hopefully dredging a little in the future.

Anyone with more details, please let me know. I'm preparing the trip carefully because of the lengths of stay I will need to be in areas in order to prosper a little.

If you've had experience in that area, let me know what your average yields were if possible.

Best Regards,
David Hutto

Thanks for the heads up. I'm trying to find spots as close to camp as possible. Just a good location to be in with campgrounds near by to station myself at for the surrounding towns, and counties.
