Get a diamond blade and and cut that section of rock out.

Are those quartz crystals in the cavity?

    Would be a nice specimen.

That's not the only spot with gold in it.

A small chunk of that rock as a specimen might be worth more
than the gold in that small section of rock.

    Nice find!

Ever been to the Tucson Gem and Mineral show?

If that Quartz is full of wire gold it might have more cavities inside.

I've never been, would love to go someday!
I'm hoping it does have more wire inside it. We shall see.

Nice rock with gold in it. Maybe different metal detectors can tell you if there is more gold in the rock.

Well then, I think you need to fake a stomach bug and get back home and crack that puppy open.

I want to see whats inside.

Yes this is one "Puppy" people want to see cracked open. Maybe a smaller 4 inch coil will help to see where the values are inside after it is "Cracked up a little' no joke intended. However Oregongold76 may start laughing a little when the "Puppy is opened".
May have to take a few days to recover.......LOL.

Nice piece of float. Hope you are able to trace to it's origin.

I don't think you said.......was it found with one of your detectors?

If it can't be grown, it must be mined!
