Cool rock I found a few years ago.

Found this cool rock gave it to my girlfriend a couple years ago. I figured that you guys might enjoy it.

Think it's worth anything?

X marks the spot and yes that is a interesting rock sample as it is. You could have the rock scanned by a falcon type of metal detector along what appears to be calcite or quartz lines to see if there is any values. It is unusual sample of veins.

Looks like a combination of selenite, the brown matrix, and calcite. Cool piece though :)

Its actually two quarts veins within a high iron content rock. I found it while sluicing .

I'm glad you know quarts and don't take this wrong, but I think the word you want is quartz.

Selenite is not brown.

Looks like a contact with Granodiorite And Greenschist with a high Iron content
