Is it hard to meet with the local landowners, and pan, or sluice? Are they arranged deals, or just knock on the door, and ask?

Also, it seems as though in some of the videos I've been watching for SC that panners, or a little sluicing is done just by walking creek beds, and then they get permission to dredge, or highbank .

Is it like being a door to door salesman, or attending local community meeting to ask around for places to kind of grub stake at?

May be a mixture of all of the above as each area can be different.

Don't know about South Carolina, in Indiana we have to get written permission from the land owner to ingress his property, state law.. IMG_0001.jpg
