been waiting, the river is finally low and warm enough to cross....chest high, but man the gold is better on the other side!
got 2 small nugs in one day last week, one about 6 .gr, the other about 4. lots of moss with good gold in it and my special spot I've gotten fanastic gold out of for 2 years now, it's just dusty, nasty clay, but it's loaded.

wishin' everyone a good season, the rains have stopped, the days are long and warm.

ain't cold, figure it to be in the mid 50's, swimmable on warm afternoons.
For safety use both a float just in case you loose your footing maybe use a pole if the bottom is good for it.
