113 in shade here at 3. Dont know how hot in sun didnt care to find out.
My temp here is about the same as amboy calif.

high 90's here. Got a sunburn in 20 minutes weeding the garden. Rained at the claim last Friday until I got loaded up to leave, then more heat and blue skies. Go figure....

mike691, that was Ma Nature just testing to see how determined your are to do what you want to do.

I'd been in prospecting for almost two weeks, it was now late September, when the sky's began to fill with ominous clouds. I suggested to my partner that we move camp up river right next to the trail. As soon as we'd gotten setup at the new spot the clouds opened up with a deluge that lasted the rest of the day and all night. From there it rained off and on for the next three days, the last day of minor rain we hiked out and UP to where it was flurrying.
