Whew! Not sure I would last a day there Gt. 96 today in Placerville ca and climbing through the weekend. Plenty hot enough for me but at least we get relief of 65 degrees overnight. Nice to give the a/c a break and open up the house.

Only 108 here today gold tramp. I knocked off at 2:30 pm around the time the temp peaked. It was 115 yesterday - worked all day. Lots of shade and water and it's doable but as I get older I'm enjoying it less.

It's a dry heat. Kind of like a big convection oven with the high winds we've been having. :sunny:

Yeah I know ,don't rub it in. For the price they get,These units should last longer than 15 years.

Not sure how you do it Clay. The heat has really gotten to me this year and as bad as I want to get to LSD area for a gold fix, I've just been doing research at home. Much AU to you guys that are braving the furnace.

I was out on the old football field today at 5:30 because it is close and by 7am I was soaking wet. The humidity is really bad today. Only found one clad dime and 22 pull tabs. Better days are ahead.

Been in the triple digits here also. Humidity is up here too and we're waiting for the monsoons to kick off. My day job requires that I am out in it most of the day. Usually it doesn't bother me too bad, but this year it is killing me.

Cant wait to be underground again where it is cooler.

In St. Augustine Florida today mid 80s high humidity.. and it's our rainy season.
It rains about every afternoon her through August .
Thinking about selling and moving to a dryer climate..!!

112 yesterday. Knocked off at 4 pm. Think I overdid it yesterday - going to have to take it a little easier today. Was hoping to finish this job today but I may have to stretch that out for another day.

I've always loved the desert but the high summer heat is getting harder to take each year as I age. :BangHead:

It was 43 when I woke up this morning here. Yesterday it rained which cooled things off but today could be in the 80's. I hope not! I'm sick of this heat!

Accuweather says 82 for today so not too bad but 68 would be better.
