just from talk on the forums, that in some county's that don't have mining claim property tax they are saying
to file the SB2 exemption cover sheet as "not real estate related"
otherwise if you don't want to take the chance of it being rejected.
it's an additional $75 on top of the filling fees per SB2 to support the Building Homes and Jobs Act.

I know of no instance where a County does not charge a Recording Fee. Each County Fee is different...per my experience.

Yep a recording always has a fee. First page is the bulk a smaller fee for additional. If you have more than one claim serializing them will allow you to have them on one document.

Our recorder says no mining claim filings are exempt. tax or not.

So, It will be what ever your recorder charges plus a minimum of $75 bucks

Just talked to the Siskiyou county recorders office and the fee is $50 and if you have a copy of the form required you can mail it in instead of going to the office.
