So I panned a 1lb bag of Goldn paydirt I ordered from Amazon. Twas pretty cheap and I needed the experience for panning anyways since I haven't been successful. Panning this dirt was sooo worth it since I know that with my current skill, I can still get gold!!!
Another part of the learning experience is that I know what gold looks like in comparison to other little bits of rock that happen to reflect some sunlight. I have watched many videos of people panning and always wondered how they can spot them so easily lol
I am going to go through the paydirt again tomorrow and maybe see if I can find some fines. I live in Mississippi where people always say there is nothing but flour gold. Does anyone have any pictures of what flour gold may look like in a pan.

Use lead shot about #8 size and it will help you learn how to pan better. Great job
