Cool Gold Nugget Found!

Not making as many videos as I had been this summer, but this was a fun one! We honed in on a good area and found good gold... but then based on a hunch tried a different place and found a beautiful nugget!

Thanks again to EVERYONE on this amazing forum for constantly inspiring me to get out of my comfort zone!

That's insanely chunky gold there, you must be really close to the source. I can't believe there's still gold like that you can find today in creeks.

that is very coarse. not water worn at all. if you have a lot of bedrock and shallow ground in your area, a detector may be a helpful tool
