    If you used it to finish out cracks.. rather than a bulk material collector.

    You could get a lot of use out of the battery time.

    Goldwasher is right. Use the Ryobi for cleaning out the cracks and it will be a great tool. Iíve used both gas vac-pacs and an electric 1 gallon shop vac hooked up to a Honda generator. Collect the large amounts on top of bedrock with rakes, brooms and shovels, scrape and loosen the crack material, then suck it up with a vacuum.

    No, I'd be using this for sucking out the hole once the shovel lost effectiveness. We have a 4 tine rake for cleaning out the +1".
