    Arkansas gold assay

Hey y'all, just got my assay results back and although not high grade...very impressive for a state with "no gold" as geologists claim. Almost 3 grams Au per ton, and almost 4 grams Ag per ton. I should have tested for platinum group as well, but was short on cash. BTW this is hard rock gold, not placer. I found this ore in North Central Arkansas, in a black rock outcrop that looks similar to hematite.Click image for larger version.

    Its not that bad.

That is about 6 cubic yards of rock, or one bucketful of a loader, for $1300. In the aggregate industry, that would net a person $72.

Yeah, unless it was open pit and I could run 20 tons a day, I don't see making a profit. Just encouraging finding any gold here. So my search continues

    Was that amount free milling?
All treasures found with permission on private property or on active mining claims.
