    Any additional information?
    Weight..malleability...hardness...streak color...
    Specific gravity would be helpful.

    Where was it found?

weight i will determine tomorrow.Got my scale still in my car as i just came back from a trip to a new creek sunday evening and had no time yet to straighten up things. It,s slightly heavy but not heavy like gold or lead .
Malleability ..i,m afraid to break it,i think its,s pretty hard.Streak, against what should i rub it?
location is south europe(sorry, the anti-small scale mining/eco mafia is reading).Gold there (in the creek)is chunky, mineralized veins all over(i took samples) Magnetite balls in the creek alluvials bigger then my hand.

I think someone meant it's a piece of melted aluminum can from a fire...trash.
That's likely the answer, but without more info...do you have balance beam scale?

Seriously??! I have to use reading glasses...in the dark, 1/2 hour after sunset, everything yellow colored looks like gold. Till you actually get some light and clarity on it..then you figure out it's just a speck of light colored clay..which is the case 99% of the time.

I was suggesting a melted beverage can. After closer inspection, I guess not. Are you sluicing desert sand?

What is the mining history of your area, what minerals are found there, that knowledge should help you in your I.D. of the specimen you found, if you share the location where you found the specimen we could help you.

yes seriously I see yellow mixed in, of course the pics are blurry and of course my first thought was camp fire aluminum but after looking at the pics closer I gave the answer to what I seen, I have near perfect vision...

Now i get it.Would also be plausible because people there like to go down to the river and have a campfire with beer going on.It would not be a budweiser though
