In south dakota

I am in South Dakota staying in rapid city for another week and a half. Want to find a couple pieces of gold to take home. Anybody know an open area or someone in the area with a claim that would allow a couple hours of digging. I am willing to pay a fee if necessary or a case of beer or something. I am not familiar at all with the area and don’t want to spend to much time researching as I have to much other running around to do. Thanks

Google "where to gold pan near rapid city south dakota". I did and one pay for play place in particular sounds like fun (had great reviews) on top of decent gold results via first sluicing to generate cons to pan for final gold recovery.
