So, I went out there this morning after my post (wild hair).

ROUGH ride once you leave washboard road. 4x4 REQUIRED.

Spent 3 hours climbing over BOULDERS and dodging cactus.

Lots of finds:
RUST (all kinds of rusty bits, cans, and what I suspect is pieces of some rust bucket vehicles plus weird wire brush bristles EVERYWHERE)

Lead (bullets and tire weights)

BEER cans galore

because some dimwits use wire brushes to clean out cracks.

It is very frustrating.
