It is one handed and fast, I am 6ft.1 and have no problems with my back using it. Just as when panning sit on a soft rock and pan, lol, once you figure it out you wont go back to a round pan except for cleanout.

I didn't see a Gold Saver pan from Roaring camp in your collection. It's the only pan I use. I can speed pan a full pan to cons in under a minute. And the gold stays where it's supposed to.

Very cool collection, Mike! I had found this one at an estate sale. I dont believe the pan is that old but i liked the painting. It says "Alaska 1982 konesky"

Here is my Aussi. Turbo pan they us it for speed panning competition , I traded one of my Rattler Gold screens for it , I sell them on another website , It is 16" wide you need a lot of water so I don't use it very much out in the Desert.

I see it now. Had to blow up the pic. I prefer green. That pan has been around since the 1970's. You can improve but I doubt it can be beat. IT is to each their own though.

I have one of those old style metal gold pans, but it rusts way too fast. What's the best way to keep it from rusting out so much?

You actually want a metal pan to rust. It holds the finer gold better. I used to buy a galvanized new pan and soak it in salt water to get a nice orange red color to it.

    Awesome collection!

My two everyday go to pans are in your list. #1 and #4 is what I use over all other.

Garrett pans are my favorite next to the Flow Pan.

The best way to treat a steel pan is to get it hot in a camp fire and urinate on it.

Plus the LeTrap is bigger and holds more. It really is fast. Then I also use it as a panning tub for my Falcon Consentrate Pan during final clean up when I'm in a low water area.
