The family and I will be headed up to painted rocks area of Michigan in a couple weeks. We plan to do some rock hounding on white fish point while there. It looks like recreational panning is legal in most places in Michigan.
Anyone done any panning on the edges of Lake Superior? I know there is beach gold, not sure if anyone has any experience in the aforementioned areas.
Planned to speed pan 8-10 pans into a jar and bring home for processing.
