This going to be a new support and voice, magazine and or website for Gold Prospectors!

The survey is to get input from as many small scale, and hobbyist Gold Prospectors as possible, so as to determine what is going to be the best way to offer help and support to all Gold enthusiasts, and to decide which format is best for everyone!

This is in the early stages, but hoping to Publish by Summer of 2008

Please take a moment to complete this very short (1 minute) online survey. For those on other forums, please push this to as many prospectors as possible as the deadline for results is 31 Jan 08.

If you have any questions I will try to answer them, or find an answer, but as I mention above this in early stages, so some answers may have to wait until later!!!

This website will be activated on 1 Feb 2008. You can get a sneak peak of the work in progress by visiting the website and clicking on the "Research Room" icon on the left pane and by visiting some of the template web pages.

There's a national prospecting survey going around. The feedback we receive on this survey determines the future of this website and its contents, topics, and subjects. If you go to the "Research Room, you can see all the areas that prospectors want information on. We'll be updating this list as the surveys are compiled. The survey also determines if an NGP magazine is published in conjunction with this website.

If you haven't taken the survey and would like to participate, please visit the website at the link below and tell us how you feel!

The survey will expire on 31 Jan 2008, or when 5,000 surveys have been received. If you'd like to see the statistics from the first 36-hours, go to http://www.nationalgoldprospector.com/

The survey numbers are updated a few times daily

Days running: 6
Surveys Submitted: 3,109
Days remaining: 42 days or 5,000 surveys

Cool site with what appears to be everything. Information about specific states and (I hope) individual mines would be a tremendous help in doing the research on where to look. At least it will make the research a little easier.

A very special "Thanks" to all who participated in the National Gold Prospector survey! In just over 2 weeks, 5,000 prospectors from across the nation and abroad provided their feedback on this great hobby.

The 5,000th survey came in early in the morning on 6 Jan 2008 from an Alaskan prospector.

The results have been compiled and are available for review on the website. Please bookmark this site and help us compile all possible information relating to gold prospecting.
