I am hoping to get down to the Slab area of the Llano river next week during my spring break from college to do some sluicing, panning and maybe some MD'ing (for rings and what not). I haven't ever been down there but I am planning on going. If any one has been down there any tips would be appreciated. I am planing on classifying everything down to 1/4 inch before sluicing it. I also have one of those new Hex gold pans I bought at the GPAA show the other week end in Belton. I can't wait to use it. The inventor was there selling them and doing demonstration's of the which really impressed me. I also saw the Llano GPAA groups booth and all the stuff they pulled out from down there the neatest of which was a 1936 gold class ring. Well wish me luck.
