How many flakes dose it take to equal 1 ounce?

Whats heavier...an ounce of gold or an ounce of feathers?

And if you were transporting this gold and feathers by plane from Mexico and the plane went down right on the Mexico/US border...where would they bury the survivors?

I think these are the two key questions to answer before we figure out how many flakes of gold equal an ounce.

I think the original poster just wanted to see what an ounce of gold flakes looked like, as a reference. Let's not get all bent out of shape here.

I measure gold in troy ounces and feathers in ounces, therefore an ounce of gold weighs more ;D

You wouldn't bury the survivors, only the dead ::)

Now that those questions are answered, you may continue :thumbsup:
