selling gold

well i went to the jewlery store here in town and i was just gonna sell 1 gram of my gold,1 gram of pickers not fine gold,the guy tested it, it teseted between 22 and 23 k,he only offered me $12 a gram for it....is there a secret to selling gold that i dont know about?? because $12 just is a insult for a gram of pickers to me,big pickers too 3 of them equaled 1 gram,i even had a nugget that weighs .95gm he only offered me $10 for it

Yea that is a little low,yea insulting!!You cant blame him for trying though!!!Thats what cracks me up about all these people going nuts over the $1000 gold!!!Yea go try to get that for raw gold.It has been going on for thousands of years and it will continue,just not with my gold.I choose who I sell to and have had the same buyers for years.I dont take less that %80 of spot.Try E-Bay.
