I can see where these might work. Trolled along in the water their flash could entice fish to strike. Don't know if they would be strong enough to hold one though. Would have all the appearance of a minnow flashing on its silver side. I have heard of bass being caught with pulltabs in their stomach. Good Luck. rockhound

Back in the 60s we used to tie the peel off pull tabs on a steel leader with a swivel. Worked pretty good for mackrel. Heard guys used em for trout too.
