Gold !!!!!!!

Well I managed to get out for 3 hours this morning. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and I was on the field where I found my avatar last year. Unfortunately only half the field had been plowed but you don't look a gift horse in the mouth . The 2 halfpennies were right next to each other and the 2 Rose farthings were about 10 or so feet apart. About an hour into the hunt I found the Elizabeth 1st threepence dated 1573 or 5, so I decided to really scour that part of the field. The next find was the crotal bell, still with ringer inside then I found a little brooch in the shape of a butterfly. I then moved closer to the houses and that's when the Xp gave a really strong signal and out popped a 1925 Gold sovereign from the Pretoria mint. It's not perfect but gold is gold .

EF= £270.00
UNC=£295.00

But this one has little micro scratches on it from being in the soil.

Thanks Guys . This field gave up a half sovereign last year that was in really good nick, I just can't work how they got there. The hammereds and artifacts I can understand but who cares it's gold and the Xp seems to like it . Now all I've got to find are the hammered gold coins '

Why so weird for gold there? I would think that with all that went on in WWII, it wouldnt be that unusual to find gold, or even caches of gold..
